Grey Gum

A medium sized Australian hardwood, Grey Gum is renowned for being extremely hard and durable. Grey Gum timber has a high density which imparts strength to the timber making it perfect for use in construction and flooring. The colour of the Heartwood is a pale, yellowish brown and the sapwood colour is paler in appearance. The texture of Grey Gum timber is even with a usually interlocked but coarse grain. Grey Gum timber is resistant to termites and marine borers.

Grey Gum timber is extremely strong, versatile and has one of the highest possible durability ratings making it an excellent choice for general construction applications, flooring and decking.
