European Beech Timber Benctops

Fagus sylvatica

A European Beech Benchtop offers a clean, Scandinavian-inspired look characterized by its pale pink to reddish-brown tones and fine, even texture. It is a remarkably dense and heavy timber (Janka 6.4 kN), making it highly resistant to impact and surface wear. Its close, inconspicuous grain creates a very smooth finish that is easy to keep hygienic, as there are fewer deep pores for food particles to settle in. It is a stable, hard-wearing choice that complements minimalist and modern architectural styles.

I ordered custom 50mm thick tassie oak stair treads and winders for a staircase and they came up a treat. WR timbers did a fantastic job with the stair treads, and they also had a prompt turnaround time. Very happy and I would highly recommend them.
