American Rock Maple Timber Benchtops

Accer sacharum

Renowned for its incredible density and durability, an American Rock Maple Benchtop is one of the hardest timber surfaces available (Janka rating of 6.4 kN).

Its tight, closed grain makes it naturally resistant to abrasion and wear, which is why it has historically been used for heavy-duty butcher blocks. Visually, Rock Maple offers a clean, refined look with a light-reflecting lustre that ranges from ivory to pale gold. It is a stable timber that resists indentation from heavy cookware, ensuring your kitchen surface or tabletop remains smooth and pristine for years.

I ordered custom 50mm thick tassie oak stair treads and winders for a staircase and they came up a treat. WR timbers did a fantastic job with the stair treads, and they also had a prompt turnaround time. Very happy and I would highly recommend them.
