Sydney Blue Gum Timber Benchtops

Eucalyptus saligna

Sydney Blue Gum Benchtops offer a distinctive "cool" red to pinkish-brown tone that distinguishes them from the deeper reds of Jarrah or Ironbark. With a straight grain and a Janka rating of 9.0 kN, this timber is both easy to work with and highly durable. It is particularly valued for its consistent color, making it a great choice for long runs of benchtop where a uniform appearance is preferred. It polishes to a high sheen, highlighting the elegant, straight-line textures of the timber.
