Spotted Gum Benchtops are arguably Australia’s most popular hardwood choice for high-end joinery. Known for its incredible color variety—ranging from light coffee browns to deep chocolates and even olive greens—Spotted Gum provides a "vibrant" look that is never uniform. With a high Janka hardness of 11.0 kN, it is exceptionally tough and resistant to impact. Its natural greasiness (due to high oil content) makes it easier to work with than some other dense hardwoods, resulting in a smooth, lustrous finish that is a joy to use daily.

I ordered custom 50mm thick tassie oak stair treads and winders for a staircase and they came up a treat. WR timbers did a fantastic job with the stair treads, and they also had a prompt turnaround time. Very happy and I would highly recommend them.
