With a Janka hardness of approximately 6.0 kN, American Ash provides a resilient surface that stands up well to daily kitchen activity.

Its prominent, straight grain and uniform texture allow it to take stains exceptionally well, making it a versatile option for designers wanting to achieve specific color tones without losing the natural timber character.

Because it is easy to machine and has excellent steam-bending properties, American Ash is ideal for custom-shaped island benches or waterfall ends.

I ordered custom 50mm thick tassie oak stair treads and winders for a staircase and they came up a treat. WR timbers did a fantastic job with the stair treads, and they also had a prompt turnaround time. Very happy and I would highly recommend them.
